Dr. Karamanoukian established the Center for Excessive Sweating in 1999 as a comprehensive center to treat adult and pediatric hyperhidrosis patients. He was one of the very first doctors in the U.S. to perform the endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ETS) procedure using robotic devices. Having performed almost every procedure for axillary hyperhidrosis, he has limited his practice to Botox and the miraDry procedure.
Dr. Karamanoukian’s patients can be sure they’ll get compassionate care and a comprehensive discussion about all of the options of treatment, since he provides all FDA approved treatment options for hyperhidrosis available in the U.S. There are few, if any patients, which he cannot help at the Center for Excessive Sweating, as he gets all of the best technologies as they become available.
He has performed hundreds of miraDry procedures since 2012, and believes that miraDry has truly been a “game changer” in the treatment of patients with axillary hyperhidrosis. It is the best available treatment as it’s minimally invasive and allows patients to quickly return to work. He published a book about miraDry in 2012 and provides it as a free access book to everyone who is interested in having this procedure.
“My life as a radiologist changed dramatically with the miraDry procedure. I was one of Dr Karamanoukian’s earliest patients in 2012. I am bone dry and very happy.
– Greg, miraDry patient
